A 4-inch wall panel with a Zigbee gateway inside, for homes running Simon Smart switches that want a screen in the bedroom or a secondary room.
The Simpad86 is the small panel in Simon's smart range, a 4-inch touchscreen that sits in a single 86mm wall box where a light switch used to be. It is hardwired to live and neutral, so it runs all day with no battery and no plug, and it sits almost flush at 10.5mm of panel depth. Inside it there is a Zigbee coordinator, which makes the panel both the screen and the gateway: Simon i7, E6, E3 and M3 switches, dimmers, curtain motors and sensors pair straight to it, more than 100 of them. A separate hub box in the riser is not needed for a Zigbee-only job. It suits villa owners and apartment residents who have already chosen Simon plates and want a screen in the bedroom, the guest room or a corridor without paying for an 8 or 10-inch panel at every position. Think of it as a panel for a room, not for the whole house. The limits are worth knowing before you commit. It controls Simon Smart Zigbee devices and nothing else, so it is not a universal screen for Hue, Aqara or a KNX villa. It needs house Wi-Fi for the Simon Smart app, remote access and voice. This white-frame SKU has no speaker. And it is mains work inside a live wall, so it is specified, wired and commissioned by an electrician or a certified Simon dealer rather than bought off a shelf and clipped on.

Power is the straightforward part. Simon's own datasheet rates the Simpad86 supply at 100-240VAC, 50/60Hz, a universal input that fully covers UAE mains at 220-240V and 50Hz. It is hardwired to live and neutral behind the plate, the same way a switch is, with no lamp load passing through the panel. It is not a US 120V part and it is not a battery or RF device, so it goes straight onto UAE mains once a qualified electrician wires it. Fitment is what we check on site. The panel is made for the 86 x 86mm European square box, the common pattern in most Dubai villas and towers, while some older British-spec fit-outs use UK-pattern boxes instead. Depth matters too, 35.75mm with the back box fitted. We take one plate off and measure before ordering. Mains work belongs to a licensed electrician or a certified Simon Smart dealer. For the UAE and Oman the Simon smart range comes through Stable Link in Dubai Silicon Oasis, the stated exclusive distributor, on a project quote.

In the UAE and Oman the range is handled by Stable Link in Dubai Silicon Oasis, the stated exclusive distributor, on a project-quote basis rather than through retail shelves. A few manual Simon mechanisms appear on Amazon.ae as cross-border imports, but the smart lines are specified and quoted per job.
