The smart-home work we deliver crosses several regulators. We file or hold the following permits and we keep them current.

7. Insurance
We maintain the following insurance cover with a UAE-licensed insurer. The insurer name, policy reference, and limits are available to clients on request:
- Public Liability: maintained per occurrence and in the aggregate
- Professional Indemnity: maintained in the aggregate
- Workmen's Compensation: in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 on the Regulation of Labour Relations
- Contractor's All Risk (CAR): project-by-project, available on request
A certificate of insurance is available to clients on request.
8. Complaint handling
We aim to resolve every complaint at first contact. If that is not possible, the path is:
- Step 1: Tell us. Email support@dubaismarthome.ae or call +971 50 506 1871. We acknowledge within two working days and aim to resolve within fifteen working days.
- Step 2: Escalate inside DSH. If you are not satisfied, ask for the matter to be escalated to the Authorised Signatory named in section 4. We aim to reply within ten further working days.
- Step 3: External escalation. Under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and Cabinet Decision No. 66 of 2023, you may raise the matter with:
- Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, Consumer Protection Department, online portal consumerrights.ae or hotline 600 545 555.
- Ministry of Economy Consumer Protection at www.consumerrights.ae.
9. Online dispute resolution
For consumer transactions, we support online dispute resolution through the consumerrights.ae portal. For B2B disputes, the agreed forum is the courts of Dubai under UAE law, unless your contract names a different forum (for example DIFC Courts or DIAC arbitration). The contract takes priority over this page.
10. E-commerce and electronic transactions
When you sign a quote, accept a proposal, or pay an invoice through our website or portal, that record is treated as an electronic transaction under Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023 on Electronic Transactions and Trust Services. Electronic signatures captured through our portal are valid for the limited purposes of accepting quotes, scheduling work, and acknowledging handover, in line with Article 19 of that law.
