What is the difference between Zehnder ComfoAir and Aldes DEE Fly Cube?

Zehnder ComfoAir Q450 (single wellness room) and Q600 (whole-villa floor) is the German heat-recovery ventilator we default to, with HEPA H13 supply filtration, ISO ePM1 80% (F7) standard filtration, MERV 13 on supply and balanced flow at 220 m3/h for a 25 sq m wellness suite in Dubai Hills or Tilal Al Ghaf. Aldes DEE Fly Cube is the French alternative we run when Zehnder lead time blocks the schedule. Mitsubishi Electric Lossnay LGH-25RVX or LGH-50RVX is the Japanese option in Mitsubishi VRF retrofits at Sobha Hartland. All three pair with Steril-Aire DEX-12V UV-C at 254 nm in the AHU return.

Does the system pause for Adhan?

Yes, on every build, opt-in per household. A Lutron or Crestron Home driver polls the IACAD (Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department) prayer-times feed five times daily for Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha. Can the wellness room run if the Wi-Fi goes down?

Yes. Lutron HomeWorks QSX and RadioRA 3 are local processors. Every scene (Morning Reset, Sleep Window, Maghrib Pause, Iftar) runs from the processor flash, not the cloud. The Klafs Premium Touch sauna and the MrSteam iSteam3 panel run locally on their own controllers. The Zehnder ComfoAir Q450 HRV runs its own logic against the Awair Element threshold. The IACAD prayer-times feed caches a seven-day fallback table on the Crestron CP4 so a Maghrib fade still triggers if Etisalat drops. Only the Eight Sleep API and remote monitoring need internet.

Do I need DEWA approval to install a sauna in my Dubai villa?

Yes. A Klafs SaunaPur Combi 9 kW draws around 39 A on 380 V three phase 50 Hz, which sits well above the lighting circuit and needs a dedicated radial sized to a 50 A MCB Curve C with a Type A RCBO at 30 mA. Why do imported saunas like Klafs and Sunlighten need ECAS clearance?

Because every imported wellness device with a heating element, a power cord above 16 A, a UV emitter, an RF emitter, a salt aerosol generator or a medical classification needs ECAS (Emirates Conformity Assessment Scheme) or G-Mark before Dubai Customs releases the shipment. A Lutron RadioRA 3 main repeater fits a 2 to 5 bedroom Dubai Hills or Sobha Hartland villa. Do you handle the Trakhees paperwork for a Palm Jumeirah retrofit?

Yes. The 24/7 leak and IAQ alert monitoring add-on through GROHE Sense Guard and Awair Element runs AED 295 to AED 595 per month. The Day 30 retune is included in the install, not the contract.

What happens if my slab moisture is too high on Day 1?

We tell you on Day 3 and price the fix before the design starts. A Tramex CME5 reads the slab on a 1 m grid. The target is below 4.5 percent moisture content. Above 5.5 percent we either schedule a two-week dry-down with dehumidifiers and air movement or upgrade the substrate with a Sikafloor EpoCem moisture-tolerant primer, which is the more reliable answer on a six-month-old new-build slab in Sobha Hartland or Tilal Al Ghaf.
