Emaar’s Reem community on Al Qudra Road: nearly 3,000 homes in Mira and Mira Oasis, mostly three and four bedroom townhouses handed over 2016 to 2020. We design smart AC control, video intercoms, garden cameras and Wi-Fi that reaches upstairs, and coordinate the fitting.

Dubai Smart Home designs home automation in Reem, for Emaar’s Mira and Mira Oasis townhouses on Al Qudra Road, and coordinates the job. Most jobs cover smart control for the split AC on your DEWA bill, a smart lock, a gate intercom, cameras and Wi-Fi. A townhouse takes three to seven days, and single upgrades start from AED 1,500.
What moves the price in Reem: three or four bedrooms, how many split units you control, whether the gate gets an intercom, and how far Wi-Fi and cameras must reach into the garden.
Reem is the name Emaar and property listings use, but residents just say Mira or Mira Oasis. Emaar launched the community in 2013 on Al Qudra Road, across Emirates Road from Town Square. Mira 1 to 5 hold about 1,580 townhouses and Mira Oasis 1 to 3 about 1,350 more, almost all with three or four bedrooms. Young families and expats live here, owners and tenants side by side, with Mira Town Centre, parks, pools and a dog park close by. This Reem is not the Reem cluster in Arabian Ranches 2, Al Reem in Arabian Ranches or Reem Island in Abu Dhabi.
The homes were handed over between 2016 and 2020. That makes them younger than Arabian Ranches or The Springs, but they were still built without smart wiring as standard. So smart home installation in Mira is a wireless retrofit: AC controllers, smart switches, locks, cameras and mesh Wi-Fi fitted to what is already there. Each home cools with its own split units on the DEWA bill, so AC control shows up in what you pay. Gardens, driveways and the gates in Mira Oasis mean Wi-Fi and cameras have to reach outside too.
Reem does not appear on published district cooling lists, so every Mira and Mira Oasis home runs its own split units on the DEWA meter. Infrared controllers switch off empty rooms, hold a warmer setting while the family is out and cool the bedrooms before bedtime.
The Mira Oasis modification guidelines, as quoted online, ask for plain gates and fences in black, beige or dark brown, with designs approved by Emaar. We pick intercoms, keypads and cameras in finishes that suit the gate you have, and check with Emaar before anything changes the gate itself.
A router by the front door rarely reaches the top-floor bedrooms, the back garden and the driveway camera through block walls. Two or three mesh nodes, one upstairs and one by the garden door, keep the lock, the cameras and the irrigation controller online.
A Mira Oasis resident told Gulf News that safety is what they love most about the community. Cameras on the gate, driveway and garden, and door sensors on the ground floor, add a layer the family controls, with alerts to both parents’ phones.
The larger Mira 2 units, and many in Mira Oasis 2, come with a maid’s room. A mortise smart lock gives the helper, cleaner or gardener a personal code on set hours, and you delete that one code the day they leave.
These townhouses are ten years old or less, with finished walls you would rather not chase. Most smart devices here are wireless or fit existing points. We check a few switch boxes at the survey, because a missing neutral wire decides which smart switch fits.
Indoor smart devices in Mira and Mira Oasis usually need no approval. Anything that changes the gate, fence or front of the house needs Emaar’s sign-off first, which we arrange.
