Townhouses and villas in Dubailand, from Rahat villas handed over around 2013 to Mudon Al Ranim homes still arriving. We design smart control for your split AC, locks, cameras, irrigation and Wi-Fi, fitted as a retrofit or before move-in.

Dubai Smart Home designs home automation in Mudon, the Dubai Properties community in Dubailand, and coordinates the work through to handover. Most jobs cover split AC control, smart locks, cameras, garden irrigation and mesh Wi-Fi for Arabella and Al Ranim townhouses and Rahat, Naseem and Al Salam villas. Single upgrades start from AED 1,500.
What changes the price here: townhouse, villa or flat, how many split AC units you control, the size of the garden, and whether a new Al Ranim home is still empty when we start.
Mudon is a gated Dubai Properties community in Dubailand, where Al Qudra Road meets Emirates Road, with Arabian Ranches, Remraam and The Sustainable City as neighbours. Each cluster has its own kind of home: standalone villas in Rahat and Naseem, townhouses and villas in Al Salam, modern townhouses in Arabella 1 to 3 and Mudon Al Ranim, and flats in Mudon Views, the only apartment building. Dubai Holding Community Management runs the community day to day, and the community is built around families.
The age gap inside Mudon is unusual. Rahat villas were handed over around 2013, while Mudon Al Ranim phases are still being handed over, with the rollout expected to run to about 2028. So smart home installation in Mudon can mean a retrofit into a villa that is over ten years old, or cable in a new townhouse before move-in. Mudon is not on the published district cooling lists, so villas and townhouses run their own split AC on the DEWA bill, and AC control saves money on a bill you pay yourself.
Mudon is not on the published district cooling lists, so each villa and townhouse cools with its own split units and the AC lands on your DEWA bill. Smart controllers switch off empty rooms, cool the bedrooms before bedtime and hold a warmer setting while the family is out.
Rahat villas were handed over around 2013, and Mudon Al Ranim phases are still arriving. A villa over ten years old and a brand-new townhouse need different plans, so we start by checking the wiring, switch boxes and AC units in your own home.
New Al Ranim owners get one cheap window: the empty weeks between handover and move-in. Cable for Wi-Fi, cameras and curtains can go behind new joinery then. Your snag list should also carry wiring checks, such as a neutral wire at each switch.
Rahat villas are set around courtyards, so some rooms face strong sun for much of the day. Motorised curtains or blinds that close on a schedule keep that heat off the glass. Our guides put the cooling saving from automated shading at 15 to 20 percent.
Some early Mudon gardens were handed over as bare sand and planted by their owners, so no two irrigation setups match. We trace your valves and zones at the survey, then specify a controller that waters before sunrise and skips wet zones.
Mudon’s gated entrance covers the community, not your front door. A keypad smart lock gives each cleaner, nanny or gardener a personal code for their own days and hours, logs every visit, and can be cancelled the day someone leaves.
Indoor device work usually needs no sign-off. We found no published DHCM rule on smart homes in Mudon, so we check exterior and wired work with them before we start.
