New Emaar townhouses and villas on the Dubai to Al Ain Road, from Eden, handed over in late 2023, to phases due in 2029. We plan AC control, smart locks, cameras and Wi-Fi, best fitted before you move in.

Dubai Smart Home designs home automation in The Valley, Emaar’s townhouse and villa community on the Dubai to Al Ain Road, and coordinates each step to handover. Most jobs cover split AC control, smart locks, cameras, video doorbells and Wi-Fi, ideally planned before move-in while the home is empty. Single upgrades start from AED 1,500.
What moves the price here: townhouse or villa, how many split units you control, and timing. Cable run through an empty home before move-in costs far less than the same cable after the furniture arrives.
The Valley is Emaar’s townhouse and villa community on the Dubai to Al Ain Road (E66), in Al Yafrah 1 on the city’s eastern edge. Downtown Dubai is about 20 to 25 minutes away by car, and there is no metro. The homes are three and four bedroom townhouses and four and five bedroom villas, with no apartment towers. Three bedroom townhouses were priced at around AED 1.8 million, well under Dubai Hills, and the community was pitched at families. One resident guide says many residents work in Dubai South and JAFZA.
Nearly every home here is new. Eden was handed over in late 2023, Nara and Talia followed, and phases such as Avena and Velora are scheduled for 2028, with the last due in 2029. So smart home installation in The Valley is mostly new-build work, and for most buyers the best moment is the empty stretch before move-in. The Valley is not on the published district cooling lists, so each home runs its own split AC on the DEWA bill. The long drive into town also means families want to see the door, the cameras and the AC from their phones.
With phases handing over from 2023 into 2029, many Valley owners still have an empty house ahead of them. That gap before move-in is when cable for cameras, access points and curtain motors goes in cheaply, behind wardrobes and joinery that are not built yet.
The Valley is missing from the published Empower and Emicool area lists, so each townhouse and villa cools itself with split units. Schedules, an away mode and switching off empty rooms cut the cooling part of your DEWA bill, and the double-glazed windows help the saving hold.
The Valley is car-dependent, about 20 to 25 minutes from Downtown, and the nearest big mall is roughly a 17-minute drive. Popping home at lunch is not realistic. Cameras, door sensors and AC control on your phone let you check the house from the office or the school run.
Couriers do not always come when someone is in. A video doorbell lets you talk to the driver from your phone and say where to leave the box. A one-time code can open a side gate for that single delivery.
Phases such as Avena, Velora and Venera are scheduled for 2028, so early residents in Eden, Nara and Talia will live beside active sites for a few years. Outdoor cameras aimed at your own plot, and sensors on doors and ground-floor windows, alert you to anyone on it.
Only e& and du run fixed-line fibre in the UAE, and your phase gets whichever one the developer signed with. Ask Emaar at snagging which operator serves your home and whether fibre reaches the unit. Then plan a small comms point, with mesh or wired access points on every floor.
Indoor smart home work in The Valley usually needs no sign-off. Anything that changes the outside, like a gate motor or wall cameras, we check with Emaar first.
