Dubai Smart Home installs home automation in Emaar Beachfront apartments and penthouses, in towers such as Beach Vista, Sunrise Bay, Marina Vista and Grand Bleu Tower. Most owners add smart locks, motorised curtains for the sea-facing glass, fan coil thermostats, leak sensors and Wi-Fi after handover. Single upgrades start from AED 1,500, and a one or two bedroom apartment takes one to two days.
What changes the price: how many windows you motorise, whether you want lighting scenes or just devices, and whether we can work before the furniture arrives.
Emaar Beachfront is an island of new towers inside Dubai Harbour, between JBR and Palm Jumeirah, with its own 1.5 km private beach. Beach Vista, Sunrise Bay, Marina Vista, Grand Bleu Tower, Palace Beach Residence, Beach Isle and South Beach are handed over, and towers such as Seapoint, Bayview and Beachgate are still being built. Almost every apartment faces the sea through tall glass.
We found no sign that Emaar fits smart home devices as standard here, so most owners get a beautiful, finished apartment with ordinary switches, a standard lock and a basic thermostat. The best time to change that is right after handover and snagging, before furniture arrives. Many units are also let, some as holiday homes, so remote access and guest codes are often part of the plan from the start.
New Beachfront apartments come finished but without automation. The weeks after handover are the easiest time to add it, because ceilings are clean, walls are empty and you are not yet living around the work.
The towers are designed to face the Gulf, the Palm and the Marina, which means large windows taking strong sun. Motorised blinds and sheer curtains on a schedule cut the glare and heat without hiding the view.
Snagging lists in new Emaar towers often include bathroom sealing, minor leaks and AC drainage. A few leak sensors under sinks and near the fan coil catch a problem early, while the developer’s defects period still applies.
AC balance is a common snag in new handovers, with one room colder than the next. Smart fan coil thermostats with room sensors show you exactly where the problem is, which helps both daily comfort and your snagging report.
South Beach is marketed partly as furnished holiday homes, and many owners let their apartments. Guest codes that expire at checkout, AC schedules between stays and a log of every entry make short lets much easier to run.
Residents report that humidity and sea air are hard on homes this close to the water. Humidity sensors and AC schedules keep closed rooms dry, and anything on a balcony needs a sealed, coastal-rated housing.
Towers here are run by Emaar’s community management, so contractors need building approval before work starts. We handle it for you.
