Walled family villas across Al Warqa 1 to 4, just south of Mirdif, many with rooms for a maid and a driver and a garage for several cars. We design smart AC control, gate intercoms, cameras, staff codes and Wi-Fi to suit them.

Dubai Smart Home designs home automation in Al Warqa, the villa district south of Mirdif made up of Al Warqa 1 to 4, and coordinates the work up to handover. Most jobs cover smart control for each villa’s own AC, gate intercoms, cameras, staff access codes and Wi-Fi that reaches a large plot. Single upgrades start from AED 1,500.
In Al Warqa the price follows the plot: villa size, AC units, the gate and garage, staff rooms and the pool. A rebuild is the cheapest time to wire, as cable goes in before the walls close.
Al Warqa, also spelled Al Warqaa, is the villa district just south of Mirdif. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) runs along its western edge and Al Awir Road (E44) along the south. It was planned as a residential area from 2001 and is split into numbered sub-areas. Al Warqa 1, by the E311 junction, has villas of four to nine bedrooms. Al Warqa 2 sits next to Ghoroob, Al Warqa 3 is the largest block, with most of the luxury villas and their private pools, and Al Warqa 4 lies beside Dubai Safari Park, which fills all of Al Warqa 5.
Al Warqa is not freehold, so every owner is a UAE or GCC national, and a lot of villas are family homes lived in by the people who own them. Expat families rent the rest, along with flats in a few mid-rise blocks. The homes are walled villas with their own gates, gardens and garages, and larger ones come with rooms for a maid and a driver. There is no district cooling and no metro station, so families drive everywhere and cool each room on their own DEWA meter. That is why smart home installation in Al Warqa usually starts with AC control, the gate, staff codes and Wi-Fi.
Al Warqa is not on a district cooling network, so each villa runs its own split or ducted units on the DEWA meter. A big home can have an AC in every bedroom, hall and staff room. Smart control switches off empty rooms and cools the house before you drive home.
Most homes here are independent villas on walled plots, with no compound gate or guard between the street and your front door. A video intercom, a smart gate controller and cameras on the driveway let you see who is outside, talk to them and open up from anywhere.
Al Warqa 4 villas are listed with maid’s and driver’s rooms, and Al Warqa 1 villas with maid’s rooms. Each person gets a code for only the doors they need, limited to their working hours, and you delete it in seconds when they leave.
Al Warqa 1 villas reach 15,000 sq ft, with gardens, pools and garages for up to four cars. One router in the hall cannot cover all that. Cabled access points on each floor and outside keep the cameras, gate and garden devices online.
Al Warqa 1 and 2 were launched in 2001, so their first villas were wired long before smart devices were common. Switch boxes may lack a neutral wire and bedrooms may have no data point. We choose switches and relays that suit what is behind the wall.
Walled gardens need watering every day in summer, and Al Warqa residents on local forums blame sprinklers for part of their bills. Smart irrigation waters before sunrise, skips damp zones and pauses in strong wind. The pool pump can follow its own schedule too.
Al Warqa has no master developer, so no developer NOC applies. Dubai Municipality handles building permits, and we confirm at the survey whether your job needs one.
