A flagship large-room HEPA air purifier built for big open villa spaces, majlis areas and open-plan living rooms in Dubai.
The Blueair Classic Pro CP7i is the top model in Blueair's Classic Pro range, made for large rooms up to 131 m2. It uses two fans and two HEPASilent filters. Air comes in through a wide front grille and leaves through two side vents, so it moves a lot of air fast. Blueair rates it at a combined CADR of 645 m3/h and says it removes 99.97% of airborne particles down to 0.1 microns, which covers dust, pollen, pet dander and most smoke. On high it can clean a 54 m2 room in about 12.5 minutes. Its main extra feature is HINS, a 405nm blue light that runs every 10 minutes to knock out viruses and bacteria caught on the filter. A laser sensor reads PM1, PM2.5 and PM10 and shows the result as a number and a colour band. The Blueair app handles remote control, schedules, air quality and filter life, and it works with Amazon Alexa for voice control. This suits a large Dubai villa: an open living-and-dining floor, a big majlis, or a whole open-plan level. It is a tall, heavy unit at 900mm and 14.5kg, so it needs floor space and is not made to move room to room. Apartment owners with one big living area will be fine, but for a small bedroom it is oversized. Filters need changing every 6 to 12 months depending on how dusty your air gets.

Dubai air is hard on filters. Fine desert dust and summer sandstorms load a purifier faster than in cooler, cleaner cities, so plan on the shorter end of the filter cycle, closer to 6 months in a dusty villa near open land. The CP7i runs on standard 220-240V UAE mains and ships with a Type-G three-pin plug, so no adaptor is needed. It draws only 2.6 to 58W, so even running most of the day it adds very little to your DEWA bill. In a villa, put it on the main open living-and-majlis floor where the family spends time, and keep it near a wall socket since it is heavy to reshuffle. For Alexa voice control you need your home Wi-Fi to reach that room, which is usually fine in an apartment but can be patchy at the far end of a large villa. Buy from a UAE seller and keep your invoice so any warranty claim stays local.
