The iRobot Roomba Combo j5+ is a robot that vacuums and mops, and it comes from iRobot, the brand that started the robot vacuum category. It uses PrecisionVision cameras and iRobot OS to build a map of your home, so you can send it to clean a single room, a set zone, or around a specific object from the iRobot Home app. It spots and drives around common floor clutter like charging cords, shoes and pet waste, and that pet-waste avoidance is backed by iRobot's P.O.O.P. promise. A 4-Stage Cleaning System with two rubber brushes and an edge brush handles both hard floors and rugs. The best part for busy homes is the Clean Base dock. After each run the robot empties its own bin into a sealed AllergenLock bag, so you only think about it once every couple of months. To mop, you swap the vacuum bin for the included Combo Bin, which holds 360 ml of water and adds a microfiber pad, and you can set No-Mop Zones to keep rugs dry. It suits Dubai apartments and mid-size villas with mostly tile, marble or laminate. Owners and long-term tenants get the most from the mapping.
