The EZVIZ DL06 Pro is a mortise smart lock. It replaces the lock body inside your door, so the whole handle set comes with it. It opens on a fingerprint, and you also get a passcode, an RFID card, a mechanical key, Bluetooth, an app key, temporary codes, and remote unlock through the EZVIZ app. That is eight ways in, so nobody at home is ever locked out. The stand-out feature is the dual-sided reader. Both the outer and inner handles have a fingerprint sensor, and EZVIZ builds this so one touch can open two paired doors at once. That suits a villa where a main door and a majlis or side door sit together. It joins 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so you get live alerts when someone comes and goes, plus user management from your phone. The same EZVIZ app runs their cameras and doorbells. It holds 50 fingerprints, 50 passcodes, 50 cards and 50 users, enough for a big family with staff or regular guests. The 1,450mAh battery recharges over Type-C, and a power bank on the emergency port gets you in if it ever runs flat. It fits solid villa and apartment doors from 30 to 110mm thick. Honest limits: it is a lift-up mortise lock, not a quick deadbolt swap, so it needs proper fitting. It runs through the EZVIZ app, not Apple Home. Renters should get the landlord's approval first.

Most Dubai front doors, villa or apartment, are solid and take a mortise lock like this, but check your door leaf is between 30 and 110mm thick before buying. The IP65 rating on both panels matters here. A villa main door or a compound gate door gets direct sun and blown dust, and IP65 handles both. Fingerprint reading can dip if your hands are sweaty in July, so the passcode and card give you a reliable backup on hot days. Power runs on the built-in battery, not DEWA mains, so a summer power cut does not lock you out, and the Type-C port takes any phone charger or power bank in an emergency. Make sure your Wi-Fi actually reaches the front door for alerts and remote unlock, which is the weak spot in larger villas. If you rent, get written permission from the landlord or building before fitting, and keep the original lock to refit when you leave. Warranty is EZVIZ's standard one year.
