The Kaadas K9-5W is a push-pull fingerprint lock with built-in Wi-Fi, and it suits owned villas and townhouses where you want to send a one-time PIN to a cleaner or guest from your phone. It is the Wi-Fi version of the older K9, and it is the K9 that Kaadas still lists on its global site. From outside you open it with a fingerprint, a PIN code, a Mifare card or the key. From inside you grip the handle, which has a touch sensor, and pull. It stores 100 fingerprints, 100 cards and 20 user codes plus a master code. Fake digits before or after your PIN hide it from anyone watching. The app shows entry records, sends alerts and creates one-time codes, and no bridge is needed. It runs on AA batteries and wakes from a power bank through a Micro USB port if they go flat. Kaadas rates it for doors 38 to 120mm thick and working temperatures up to 60°C. It uses its own 924C mortise body, so the door is cut. It is not for renters, tower fire doors, or anyone who wants Apple Home or Alexa, since Kaadas does not list those. Voice prompts come in English but not Arabic. Supply in the UAE runs through the Kaadas importer rather than Amazon or noon, so ask us about lead time and warranty before you decide.

The K9-5W suits owned villas and townhouses. It fits its own 924C mortise body, so the existing lock comes out and the door is cut and drilled to the Kaadas template. Kaadas rates it for 38 to 120mm doors, which covers thick villa doors, but it needs a flat face wide enough for an 85mm panel. Tower flat entrances are usually fire-rated, so building management must approve it, and tenants need the landlord's written consent. Kaadas rates it to 60°C. A black panel on a west-facing door in July can get close, so we prefer shaded or covered entrances. Wi-Fi needs a decent signal at the door, and villa main doors are often far from the router, so we test signal first and add an access point if needed. One-time codes suit maids, drivers and holiday home guests. Voice prompts are English, not Arabic.
