Lenovo X5F smart lock: full-auto bolts that lock the door by themselves, 3D face and fingerprint entry and AA backup power, for busy Dubai family homes.
The Lenovo X5F is a full-auto push-pull smart lock for Dubai households that want the door to lock itself properly every single time. It is the only model in this Lenovo push-pull family built around a full-auto mortise, and it pairs 3D face and fingerprint entry with a second power source. Close the door and the full-auto body throws the bolts on its own, so nobody has to lift a handle or turn a knob. Coming back, you look at the camera or touch the fingerprint pad and push. A PIR sensor notices people moving at the door, a bell press starts a video call in the Tuya app, and remote opening is done from that call. Power comes from a 5000mAh rechargeable lithium battery plus four AA cells, which you can buy at any supermarket. What else you need: Wi-Fi at the door and a door that can take a 6068 or 7068 full-auto mortise body. Published door thickness figures disagree, so we measure your door and confirm with the supplier before ordering. Lenovo rates it to 70°C, which clears a hot Dubai porch with room to spare. The trade-offs are clear. There is no palm vein reader, no listed Alexa or Google support, and the panels are deep at about 60 mm. Pick it for the automatic bolts and the AA backup, not for the longest list of features.

Full-auto locking is the reason to choose the X5F in Dubai. Families with children running in and out, villas where staff use the main door all day, and holiday homes where guests forget to lock up all benefit from bolts that throw themselves. The catch is the lock body. It needs a 6068 or 7068 full-auto mortise, so we check the existing cut-out before anything is ordered, and older villa doors sometimes need the cut adjusted. The AA backup is practical here: if the rechargeable runs low during a long summer away, a pack of AA cells from the nearest shop keeps it going. A DEWA cut stops remote viewing until the router returns, not entry at the door. On a fire-rated tower door, get building management approval in writing first. Stock has been running on backorder, so allow for lead time.
Lenovo in the UAE. Lenovo-branded smart locks and cameras are made by Yunka Intelligent (Shenzhen) under licence as part of Lenovo's smart-device ecosystem, rather than by Lenovo's computer business. Most of the locks run on the Tuya / Smart Life app, while the cameras use the cam720 app. UAE availability is patchy: a few models are stocked by specialist smart-lock retailers and many are sourced to order, so we confirm the exact model, lock body and lead time before quoting.
