Nanoleaf Canvas is a set of light-up squares you stick to the wall to build your own glowing shapes. This Starter Kit gives you nine 150 mm panels: eight light squares and one control square that also lights up. You link them together with small connectors, mount them with the included adhesive strips, and plug the whole thing into one power supply. Each panel can show any of 16 million colours plus warm-to-cool white, so you can set a soft amber glow for the majlis or a bright cool scene for a gaming corner. Control happens through the free Nanoleaf app on iPhone or Android over your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Tap a panel to change scenes or play the built-in touch games. A microphone inside the control square lets the lights react to music in real time. It also works with Apple Home, Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can say a scene name or add the lights to a routine. Who suits it in Dubai? Renters and owners alike, since the adhesive mounting leaves the panels off your walls without heavy fixing. It fits a living room feature wall, a bedroom, or a desk setup. There are honest limits: the panels are decorative accent lighting, not room lighting, the adhesive works best on smooth painted walls, and this is an older Nanoleaf line, so stock in the UAE is thin.

The included power supply takes 100-240V, so it runs fine on UAE mains. You will need a Type-G (UK three-pin) plug or adapter, since the adapter may ship with the plug type for its source market. Mount the panels indoors. Dubai heat and dust are hard on adhesive, so keep them out of direct sun and away from windows with strong afternoon glare, and clean the wall well before sticking. Painted plaster walls hold best. Rough villa feature walls, wallpaper or textured finishes can let panels drop over time, so test one first. Wi-Fi reach matters in a large villa, as the panels need a steady 2.4GHz signal, so place them within range of your router or a mesh point. For warranty, standard cover is one year, extendable to two with registration, but service on an imported unit usually runs through the seller rather than a local UAE service centre, so keep your order confirmation.
