There is one clear reason to pick a Yeelight bulb: the house already runs on Mi Home with Xiaomi devices and adding a second app is not appealing. In that case it slots in beside the plugs and sensors already there, does colour, scheduling and voice competently, and costs very little. Outside that case the Govee bulb is the better budget buy, because its Alexa and Google integration is stronger and Yeelight's Alexa support has historically been the weaker link. It is E27, so it fits the standard fittings in UAE homes, and it needs no hub. The same limits as every Wi-Fi bulb apply. Keep the count low, because each bulb is another client on the router and a villa full of them performs badly. Leave the wall switch on, because cutting power takes the bulb out of the system. Choose this only where the household is already committed to Mi Home, since its Alexa integration is weaker than the Govee alternative at a similar price.
