Homey Pro is the hub to specify for a villa that has already accumulated devices from several brands and needs one system to run them without depending on the internet. It carries Zigbee, Z-Wave, Thread, Matter, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, infrared and 433MHz, which covers essentially everything a UAE home is likely to have bought over the past decade, and the automation logic runs on the device rather than in a cloud. That is the difference from the Homey Bridge and it is worth the price gap in a villa: lighting, curtains and AC schedules continue through an outage because nothing has to leave the house for a rule to fire. Ethernet is available, so it belongs in the network rack on a wired backhaul. The price is the honest obstacle. It costs several times any single-brand hub, and a household running only Aqara or only SwitchBot devices should buy that brand's hub and keep the difference. Where it pays for itself is the mixed villa: old 433MHz gate and blind remotes, Z-Wave locks, Zigbee sensors and newer Matter devices all sitting in one app with automations that actually survive a bad day on the line.

Rather than running four apps, one Homey Pro adopts all of it. Put it in the network rack on ethernet, and mount it outside a metal-lined cupboard so the radios are not shielded, using a short patch lead. The local automation is what justifies it here: with the family away for the summer, the villa's lighting and curtain schedules keep running through an internet drop instead of leaving the house visibly empty and dark. One hub per property. If the villa is single-brand, this is more hub than the job requires and an Aqara M2 is the better spend.
