The camera itself is rated to sixty degrees and sealed to IP67, so it copes with an exposed position better than any Wi-Fi camera in this file, but shade under a soffit still buys you years. Continuous local recording is also the answer to the subscription question: nothing leaves the property and nothing renews annually. A homeowner recording their own plot is outside SIRA's scope. Anything monitored, commercial or covering shared areas is not, and that needs approved equipment and a licensed installer.

What else do I need to buy to use this camera?
