The Sensibo Air PRO is the version of the Sensibo Air to buy if you also want to know how fresh the air in a closed Dubai bedroom, nursery or home office is. It controls any AC that came with an infrared handheld remote, which in practice means wall-mounted splits, plus window, portable and some cassette units. It sits on the wall facing the indoor unit, learns the remote, and brings the AC into the Sensibo app, Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home and SmartThings. Everything the Sensibo Air does is here: schedules, geofencing and Climate React, which runs the AC to hold a temperature or humidity target. The PRO adds a TVOC sensor, a CO2 reading and an air quality score in the app, plus PureBoost, which raises the AC fan when air quality drops. Be realistic about that last part. A split AC recirculates room air, so a faster fan will not bring CO2 down. The alert tells you to open a door or run fresh air. It does not control chilled-water fan coil units run by a wired wall thermostat, which is what most Dubai tower apartments on district cooling have, and it does not control ducted or VRF systems with wired controllers. You need one unit per AC, a Wi-Fi 2.4GHz network and a socket or USB power nearby. If you only want AC control, the cheaper Sensibo Air or tado do the same job. The Amazon.ae price is a US import, so expect a US plug and about two weeks' delivery.

This is for homes where each room has a wall-mounted split with a handheld remote, which covers most villas and many older low-rise apartments. Check your AC first. If your tower apartment has a wired wall thermostat and chilled water from Empower, Emicool or another district cooling provider, the fan coil has no infrared receiver and this will not work. Ducted and VRF systems with wired controllers are the same story. Mount it on the wall facing the indoor unit, a few metres away, out of the direct cold airflow so the temperature reading stays honest. The current Amazon.ae stock is a US import, so plan for a Type-G adapter or a UK 5V USB charger. Burning oud or bakhoor will spike the TVOC reading, which is accurate, not a fault. After a DEWA cut, check the AC state in the app, because infrared commands are one-way.
Sensibo in the UAE. Stocked by UAE online retailers. Like tado°, it bridges to your existing AC remote rather than your AC wiring.
