The EZVIZ DL50FVX is the top mortise smart lock in EZVIZ's range, with two cameras, two rechargeable batteries, 3D face recognition and palm vein. It suits Dubai villa and large apartment owners who want the most complete EZVIZ camera lock and are happy to pay for it. It opens by face, palm vein, fingerprint, PIN, Bluetooth key, temporary code, remote app unlock or mechanical key, and it accepts proximity cards bought separately. The upper camera handles face recognition with a 162 degree view. A second, lower camera watches the doorstep, so parcels and small children show up, and the 4-inch indoor screen shows both views picture-in-picture. EZVIZ uses a larger camera sensor for colour night images, plus radar alerts when someone lingers. Clips save to built-in storage. Power comes from a 5,000mAh main battery with a 2,000mAh backup that takes over when the main one runs low, and there are welcome and night lights at the door. Against the DL50FVS we list, it adds the second camera, palm vein, card support and the backup battery, for roughly AED 2,000 more. The Y3000FVP Plus gives you palm vein and one camera for about half the price. The DL50FVX earns its price only if the lower camera and backup battery matter to you. Honest limits: the front panel is IP52 and rated to 55°C, the 440mm panels need a lot of flat door, and there is no Apple Home support.

The DL50FVX sold in the UAE is the 6068 version, for doors 40 to 120mm thick. It suits solid villa and apartment doors that already take a 6068 mortise, while a 5085 door needs recutting. The panels are 440mm tall and 74mm wide, the largest in the EZVIZ range, so check there is enough flat door face, especially on panelled or carved villa doors. The front panel is IP52 and rated for -10°C to 55°C, so it belongs under a porch or canopy, never on a door in direct summer sun. EZVIZ also notes strong sunlight can affect face and palm recognition. Test the Wi-Fi at the door first, since two cameras and video calls need a steady 2.4GHz signal. Fire-rated tower doors need building management approval, and tenants need written landlord consent. In a DEWA power cut the lock still opens on battery, but alerts and video calls stop until the router is back.
