The TL800 is ZKTeco's answer for a villa main entrance where several people need access by several different methods. Face recognition, fingerprint, card, PIN, app and mechanical key are all supported on the same door, so a family member uses a face, a cleaner uses a card, a contractor gets a time-limited PIN and everyone appears separately in the audit log. It also carries an anti-theft alarm that sounds on tampering or forced entry attempts, which is a commercial access control feature rather than a consumer one. This is the lock to specify when the household is large or the access arrangements are genuinely complicated. Against it: the styling is utilitarian, the app is an access control tool rather than a smart home app, and there is no Apple Home, Alexa or Google support. Against the Yale at a similar price, you are choosing credential breadth and audit depth over showroom-backed lock service and better finish. Both are defensible. Decide which problem you actually have before choosing.

This is built for the Dubai villa with a complicated door: extended family, live-in staff, regular contractors and a main entrance that everyone uses. Time-limited PINs matter here, because maintenance and delivery access in villa communities is frequent and nobody wants to be issuing and revoking codes by hand every week. As a mortise lock it cuts the door and belongs on a property you own, and we check door thickness and backset on site before ordering.
