It has a built-in doorbell and tamper alerts, runs on batteries, and takes an emergency USB power feed if they ever run flat. Two things to be clear about. It is access control hardware rather than a smart home device, so there is no Apple Home, Alexa or Google integration and it lives in ZKTeco’s own app. And it fits glass only, so for a timber or metal villa door you want the Yale or Aqara instead.
