No. The Connect door and Hub do not offer an official Alexa skill, so you cannot lock, unlock, or check it with an Alexa voice command. You control everything through the Sure Petcare app instead. If voice control is a must-have, this is not the product for you.

Does it work with Google Home?

No. There is no Google Home or Google Assistant integration for this door. It is a closed Sure Petcare system that you run from their own app. Google Home users can still use it happily, they just manage it in a separate app rather than through Google.

Yes, that is the main point. Dubai has many street cats, and a normal flap lets any of them in. This door stays locked unless it reads a microchip or tag you have registered, so strays, other pets, and neighbourhood cats cannot push their way through.
