The most adaptable unit here, and not a Tesla-only device despite the name. It carries a Type 2 connector, supports up to 22kW, and is configurable for either single-phase or three-phase supply, so it fits a villa on three phase 400V and an apartment or townhouse on single phase without buying a different model. That flexibility is worth something in the UAE, where the supply varies by property type and the supply decides the charger. The Type 2 connector means it charges any EV sold here, not just Teslas, in the same way that a non-Tesla Type 2 charger charges a Tesla perfectly well. The cable is 7.3 metres, which is longer than most and solves the real-world problem of a parking bay that does not line up with the wall the board can reach. It is rated for indoor and outdoor mounting, so an uncovered bay is fine. Installation is hardwired to a dedicated circuit and requires a DEWA-certified electrician, and the run to the parking area is often the larger part of the cost.

The configurable supply is the reason this unit suits a mixed UAE market. A Dubai villa on three phase 400V gets the full rate, and a townhouse or apartment bay on single phase gets a working charger from the same box, so the decision does not have to be made before the supply is confirmed. The long cable solves a problem we meet often: the distribution board and the parking bay are at opposite ends of the property, and a 5 metre lead forces the charger onto an awkward wall or a longer, more expensive circuit run. Load balancing still deserves a look on a villa with heavy summer AC draw, since a car charging at full rate alongside several split units can trip the main breaker. Installation must be carried out by a DEWA-certified electrician on a dedicated circuit to the parking area.
Tesla in the UAE. The Wall Connector is sold in the UAE and works with any car that takes a Type 2 connector, not only Teslas.
