Lenovo C35 indoor pan-tilt Wi-Fi security camera (not the handheld digital camera) for Dubai nurseries, flats and family rooms, a simple single-lens choice.
The Lenovo C35 is a straightforward indoor Wi-Fi security camera for keeping watch over one room in a Dubai home: a nursery, the living area of a flat, or an elderly parent's sitting room. It is a single-lens Wi-Fi camera that pans and tilts, and it has nothing to do with the Lenovo C35 handheld digital camera that shares its name. An overseas retailer lists this exact model, and its spec sheet is the source of the figures here. The head turns 355° and tilts 90°, the 3MP picture is saved in H.265, and infrared reaches about 10 metres in darkness, with colour night vision shown in the Lenovo catalogue. A microphone and 1 W speaker allow two-way talk, while motion or sound detection sends a phone alert and can sound an alarm. Footage goes to a microSD card of up to 256 GB, and one seller also mentions a cloud option. At 207 g it is light enough to move from shelf to shelf. You will need a power socket nearby and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi in the room, with everything managed in the cam720 app. The key limit for Dubai is heat. Its operating range is 0 to 40°C, so it suits rooms that stay air conditioned, and it should not go in a garage, on a balcony or in a villa left shut without cooling over summer. Supply is patchy too: the one overseas retailer we found shows it out of stock, so lead times can run longer than for its siblings.

The C35 fits the way many Dubai families use an indoor camera: checking on a baby during a nap, seeing that an elderly parent is comfortable, or looking in on the cat while you travel. Its 0 to 40°C operating range is the number to respect. Indoors with the AC running, that is plenty. A villa closed up in July with the cooling off can pass 40°C inside, so unplug the camera or keep one room cooled if you leave for the summer. Its 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi carries further than a 5 GHz link, yet a nursery at the far end of a flat can still be a weak spot, so we test the signal there first. A DEWA cut switches it off unless it shares a small UPS with your router. If a nanny or maid looks after the children, tell them the camera is there and what it covers before it starts recording.
Lenovo in the UAE. Lenovo-branded smart locks and cameras are made by Yunka Intelligent (Shenzhen) under licence as part of Lenovo's smart-device ecosystem, rather than by Lenovo's computer business. Most of the locks run on the Tuya / Smart Life app, while the cameras use the cam720 app. UAE availability is patchy: a few models are stocked by specialist smart-lock retailers and many are sourced to order, so we confirm the exact model, lock body and lead time before quoting.
