Dubai summers are hard on outdoor electronics. This camera is rated to 48°C, which covers most shaded spots but not a wall in full afternoon sun, so mount it under an eave or in a porch where you can. Fine desert dust settles on the lens, so plan to wipe it every couple of weeks or footage turns hazy. Because it runs on battery, there is no wiring and no DEWA connection needed, though heavy motion traffic in summer drains the pack faster, so a Ring Solar Panel or the plug-in adaptor (both sold separately) is worth it for busy gates.
