This is a small relay module that sits behind an existing curtain or roller shutter motor and gives it app control. It is not a wall switch. There is no faceplate and no gang count. The module measures 52 x 47 x 18mm and hides inside the junction box at the motor, or behind the existing curtain rocker, so the wall keeps the look it already has. Wiring is six screw terminals: live and neutral for the AC 90-250V supply, then S1/L1 and S2/L2 for the motor's two directions. It joins your 2.4GHz WiFi directly, so no Tuya or Zigbee gateway is needed, and control runs through the Smart Life or Tuya app, with Alexa and Google Home voice on top. It suits Dubai apartments and villas that already have motorised curtains or shutters running off a plain wall rocker, which is a common developer handover fit: the motor works, it just has no app. You buy nothing else for connectivity. The motor has to be a 220-240V AC curtain or tubular type with four wires. DC motors and RF-only motors are not supported. A neutral must be present where the module is spliced in, so a true no-neutral spot rules it out. MOES is a value brand, not a premium one. Rated 500W and 2A, it is the cheap, sensible way to add app control next to Aqara or Sonoff, and the app polish and the thin UAE review history match the price.

Fitment does not apply here in the usual sense. This is a hidden module, not a wall plate, so the BS1363 Type-G and UK back-box pattern questions we answer for MOES wall switches have no bearing on this SKU. What matters is space and wiring at the splice point. The 52 x 47 x 18mm body needs somewhere to sit, normally the motor's junction box, the pelmet void, or a deep back box behind the existing curtain rocker. It needs live, neutral and the motor's two direction wires at that point. Older Dubai apartments wired switch-live only, with no neutral at the wall, cannot take it there, though the neutral is almost always present at the motor itself, which is where we prefer to fit it anyway. Our electricians do the wiring, isolate at the board, set the direction and test the end limits. The 220-240V supply here is correct for the module. Please do not open a live pelmet yourself.
MOES in the UAE. A value brand in the Tuya and Zigbee ecosystem, sold in the UAE mainly through its own Amazon.ae store with genuine local stock and review history. Best known among smart-home enthusiasts for retrofit modules, no-neutral switches and scene controllers rather than as a household name. Most devices run on the Smart Life or Tuya app, and the Zigbee ones need a MOES or Tuya gateway. Note that MOES rarely states the wall-box pattern on its switch listings, so we confirm back-box fit before fitting one.
