This is a flat glass wall panel with three touch keys, open, stop and close, that replaces the switch controlling a motorised curtain, roller blind or shutter. It joins your home WiFi on 2.4GHz, so there is no hub to buy and nothing extra to plug into the router. Setup runs through the Smart Life (Tuya) app. Once it is linked you get schedules, timers and voice control through Alexa and Google Home. A 433MHz handheld remote can be paired straight to the panel for anyone in the house who will not use an app. Note what is not in the box. The motor is sold separately, so this only makes sense if a curtain track, roller blind or shutter motor is already fitted or is going in at the same time. The RF433 remote is a separate accessory too. It suits Dubai apartments and villas where the developer left a motorised blind on a plain rocker switch, or where a new motor is going in and the owner wants app and voice control without Aqara or Somfy pricing. The limits are real. A neutral wire is required, so switch boxes wired without one are out. There is no Apple Home and no Zigbee, and every panel is one more device on your router. MOES is a value brand. Build quality, app polish and after-sales support sit below Aqara and Sonoff, and the price reflects that.

Power here is 220-240V at 50Hz, which sits inside the panel's 110-240V range, so voltage is not the problem. Fitment is the part to check. The panel is the flat 86mm-style glass format MOES uses across its UK and EU touch switches, and it is meant for a standard single gang back box, but MOES does not publish an exact cutout or back box spec for this SKU. So we treat it as confirm before fitting. Send us a photo of the switch plate removed and we confirm the box on site. Where a Dubai back box is an odd depth or size, we use an adapter plate rather than force it. The wiring point is not ambiguous. Live and neutral are both required, and plenty of older apartments in Deira, Karama and Bur Dubai have no neutral at the switch position. This panel will not run there. Our own licensed electricians do the isolation, the wiring and the app pairing. Please do not open a live switch box yourself.
MOES in the UAE. A value brand in the Tuya and Zigbee ecosystem, sold in the UAE mainly through its own Amazon.ae store with genuine local stock and review history. Best known among smart-home enthusiasts for retrofit modules, no-neutral switches and scene controllers rather than as a household name. Most devices run on the Smart Life or Tuya app, and the Zigbee ones need a MOES or Tuya gateway. Note that MOES rarely states the wall-box pattern on its switch listings, so we confirm back-box fit before fitting one.
