The Bosch EL600VF is a face recognition smart lock with a 1080p night vision camera, the best-documented lock in this Bosch family sold in Dubai and the one with the clearest video. Choose it for a shaded or covered entrance where you want sharp night footage and a published security grade. For a door in full sun, the EL400VF or FU6 Plus is safer. Bosch lists it in its own smart lock range, and the datasheet gives GA 374-2019 Security Level B under the Chinese electronic lock standard. Its 3D face recognition reads you at 40 to 90 cm, in about 0.5 seconds when the lock is awake and 1.5 seconds from sleep, according to Bosch. Otherwise, use the hidden fingerprint sensor, a PIN, a card, the app or the key. Twenty faces fit in memory, alongside 100 fingerprints, 100 codes and 100 cards. The 1080p night vision camera has a 160° view, so it covers more of the doorstep than the 120° EL400VF. Visitors can call your phone through the two-way intercom, and a 3.97-inch screen shows them to anyone inside. A 5000mAh lithium battery powers it, with a USB-C emergency input, and it joins 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi directly. The clutch built-in mechanical mortise takes doors of 40 to 100 mm, and we check whether your European mortise pocket needs re-cutting. It is also the easiest to buy, on Amazon.ae as well as through the UAE distributor. The 60°C rating is the main limit, and voice assistant support is unconfirmed.

The EL600VF belongs on a door that stays out of the afternoon sun: a tower apartment, a villa entrance under a deep porch, or a north or east-facing door. Its 60°C ceiling leaves little room on an exposed west-facing door, where the camera and battery would both suffer in August. Within that limit, the 1080p night vision camera earns its place at townhouses and villas where deliveries and visitors arrive after dark. Because it sells on Amazon.ae, some buyers order it before checking the door. The lock body is a clutch built-in mortise that may differ from the European pocket already there, so share a door-edge photo with us first. Building management must approve any change to a fire-rated tower door, and tenants need written landlord consent. During a DEWA cut the lock opens as normal on battery. Support in the UAE comes through the official UAE distributor, and the warranty term is confirmed at order.
