Fitting is the thing to settle first. The Veno is a deadbolt replacement designed for American doors, while most Dubai flats and villas use a European mortise body with lever handles on both sides. On many doors that means preparation work, and on some it means this is the wrong lock and we will tell you so. Send photos of both faces of the door and the door edge before you decide. Heat and dust are kinder to this one than to most. IP65 and a rated ceiling of 70 degrees cover a west facing villa door in August, though shade still helps the battery last. A DEWA cut does not lock you out because the lock runs on its own battery, but app control pauses until your router is back. Tenants need written landlord approval, and tower doors are usually fire rated, so ask building management before anyone drills.
