The Solity GM-1000 is an entry-level Bluetooth smart lock that opens by fingerprint, card, PIN, phone or key, suited to Dubai villa and apartment front doors that want keyless entry without Wi-Fi.
The Solity GM-1000 is an entry-level smart lock from Solity, a Korean lock maker. It replaces your key with five ways in: your fingerprint, a PIN on the keypad, an RFID card, your phone over Bluetooth, or one of the two backup keys in the box. It stores up to 100 fingerprints and 100 cards, so a whole household plus regular visitors can each have their own access. The lock runs on its own. There is no Wi-Fi and no hub to set up. You pair your phone through the free Solity Smart Home app, and from there you add or remove users, set PIN codes, and check who opened the door. The app only reaches the lock over Bluetooth, so you manage it while you are near the door, not from work or from abroad. It fits doors between 35 and 70 mm thick, which covers most solid apartment and villa front doors in Dubai. The door locks itself after every entry, so it is rarely left open by accident. Who it suits: renters and owners who want keyless entry on the main door without a smart-home setup or a monthly account. Honest limits: no remote unlocking, no Apple Home, Google Home or Alexa, and no camera. If you need to buzz in a guest while you are out, this is not the right lock for you.

Most Dubai front doors, both villa and apartment, are solid and sit inside the 35 to 70 mm range this lock fits, so the mortise body usually suits them. Fingerprint readers can struggle in peak summer when hands are sweaty or wet from the pool, so it helps to keep the PIN and card as backups. The lock is battery powered and does not touch DEWA mains, so a power cut will not lock you out, and the emergency port lets a fitter feed power from outside if the batteries ever run flat. There is no Wi-Fi, so a weak signal at a far villa gate or inside a thick-walled apartment is not a problem here. If you rent, and around seven in ten Dubai residents do, ask your landlord or building management first, since fitting a mortise lock usually means cutting the door to suit it. We supply the GM-1000 to order and handle setup and local support.
Solity in the UAE. A Korean digital-lock maker with a long track record in Asia. UAE availability is still thin: a few specialist lock retailers carry the G-series and mainstream marketplaces stock it only now and then, so we source and support these directly rather than pointing you at a shelf.
