The Bot is a mechanical finger that sticks next to a switch or a button and physically presses it on command, and it is the last resort that turns out to be the right answer surprisingly often. No wiring, no neutral, no back box, no electrician. It sticks on with adhesive, runs on a battery and pushes the thing you already have. That makes it usable where every other product in this category fails: a rented Dubai apartment with no neutral at the box and a tenancy agreement that bars any alteration, or a wall-mounted appliance control that has no smart version at all. Coffee machines, water dispensers, geyser isolators mounted out of reach and lift lobby buttons are all real cases we have used it for. Press mode taps once, and switch mode uses a small adhesive tag so it can pull a rocker back off as well as push it on. It talks over Bluetooth, so a SwitchBot hub is needed for control from outside the house or from Alexa and Google. Be realistic about it: it is visible on the wall and it makes an audible click. Where a proper switch can be fitted, fit one.

This is the fallback for older Dubai apartments where the switch box has no neutral, the landlord will not permit electrical work, and every mains product in this category is therefore off the table. It sticks beside the existing plate and presses it, so nothing about the installation changes and nothing has to be made good on moving out. It works on gypsum, tile and painted blockwork provided the surface is clean, though adhesive on a hot wall in summer benefits from being pressed firmly and left a day before use. Range is Bluetooth, so a SwitchBot hub in the property is what gives you control from outside the house and voice assistants.
